We are constantly reviewing our services and events since the COVID-19 outbreak, including the setting up and delivery of a Community task force and helpline to help those in self isolation in our community.
Councillors & Staff
We currently have 10 Councillors who provide their time free of charge. There are 3 vacancies at present with an election due in May 2021 (postponed due to Covid). If you are interested in becoming a Town Councillor, please email the clerk for more information.
Council Officers
We have 2 Council Officers responsible for providing advice, implementing council’s direction and taking action on council decisions. They also provide advice and expertise that help the council to form policy decisions, along with delivering services and implementing decisions.
Code of Conduct
All Town Councillors agree to abide by the Town Council’s Code of Conduct, which focuses on the Nolan Principles for public life.
District Councillors
District Councillors are elected by the community to decide how the District Council (Teignbridge) should carry out its various activities. They represent public interest as well as individuals living within the ward in which he or she has been elected to serve a term of office.
Chudleigh District Councillors
There are 2 District Councillors from Chudleigh and any resident can go and talk their councillor face to face. For more information see the TDC website
