Business Coronavirus Update - 30 June

Businesses can keep up to date on all Government Covid-19 support schemes via the GOV Business Support website. As many of the support schemes will be administered through local authorities, we are also keeping our TDC Business Support page up to date as and when further details from Government emerge. You can also follow us on Twitter @TDC_Business

Discretionary Business Grants

Status: Live

If you know of a local business that needs some financial help but doesn't qualify under the range of COVID-related support schemes, you can point them in the direction of our discretionary grants fund.

For the first tranche of support, the scheme paid out £668,000 in grants. This leaves £1,328,250 to be allocated in the second and third tranches next month, ending on 3 July and 17 July respectively.

Those unsuccessful in the second tranche and who meet the criteria will be automatically considered for the third tranche.

New applications can still be made via our website. All new applications must be submitted before July 17 2020.

Working safely during coronavirus (COVID-19)

Guidance to help employers, employees and the self-employed understand how to work safely during the coronavirus pandemic.

The Government has released 12 guideswhich cover a range of different types of work.

Many businesses operate more than one type of workplace, such as an office, factory and fleet of vehicles. You may need to use more than one of these guides as you think through what you need to do to keep people safe.
