POLICE REPORT FOR
CHUDLEIGH TOWN COUNCIL
MONDAY 3 SEPTEMBER 2018
The Police Report for the Chudleigh Town Council meeting for the month of September 2018 is as follows:
There were a total of 11 Crimes recorded for the month of August 2018 in Chudleigh broken down as follows:
1.6 x Domestic incidents – The relevant partner agencies have been informed and safeguarding for the victims are in place.
2.1 x Theft / Other - A bank card has been used by a carer to withdraw cash but more money than arranged has been taken. The staff member will be dealt with by the owners of the home.
3.1 x Criminal Damage / other - The owner of some items of furniture when collecting them from an ex-partner has discovered they have been damaged. The police are not going to take criminal proceedings as it is not in the public interest.
4.2 x Criminal Damage to vehicle – A car parked secure and unattended has been scratched on the boot door by unknown means. There are no suspects or witnesses. Another vehicle has had the air let out of its tyres and components tampered with under the bonnet. The owner does not want any police action taken.
5.1 x Theft of a pedal cycle - A pedal cycle has been taken from a back garden. There are no lines of enquiry.
The Chudleigh Policing Team have been carrying out dedicated patrols when able in respect of the recent ASB incidents over the school holidays.
There have been no further reports of ASB from residents.
One Chudleigh resident came to the Police Surgery on 27 July 2018.
