The Police Report for the Chudleigh Town Council meeting for January 2016 is as follows:
There were a total of 8 Crimes recorded for Chudleigh in December, broken down as follows -
- 1.There were 4 x Domestic Violence incidents reported over the month. The relevant partner agencies have been informed and all incidents have or are being dealt with.
- 2.1 x Common Assault – A juvenile was knocked into whilst in a shop by an adult male. There is CCTV footage of the incident. The male has been identified and enquiries are continuing.
- 3.1 x Burglary – A shed has been broken into by forcing the padlock and door frame. A number of power and hand tools were taken along with some vehicle accessories. There are no witnesses or suspects. A Community Message was sent to all Chudleigh recipients.
- 4.2 x Criminal Damage to property – A motorcycle parked unattended was damaged by a sharp object. The offender is known and has been located. The crime is being resolved by means of a Community Resolution.A motor vehicle has had its windscreen smashed by a boulder whilst parked secure and unattended in a private car park. There are no suspects / witnesses / CCTV. The Neighbourhood Team has offered reassurance and security advice.
