Hedgelaying Helps Bats!
Explore the ancient hedgerows around the ancient Denbury Hillfort, have a go at traditional hedge management to help bats, and learn new skills at our free hedgelaying event.

The Devon Greater Horseshoe Bat Project is partnership project set up to secure the long-term survival of this endangered species. Hedgerows and farming practices are crucial in supporting foraging areas. The project will enable people to learn about, celebrate and help to care for these enigmatic bats and the landscape they live in.
